Autoliv Members Ratify New Deal

| Saturday, November 29, 2008, members of the Autoliv bargaining unit ratified a new three-year deal by 96 %. Improvements were made in the language as well as in the rates of pay and benefits. The pension plan was also improved. Many thanks to the bargaining committee of Paula Carson, Chairperson, Kelly Robertson, committeeperson, Dean Mitchell, benefits representative, John Turton, Health and Safety representative and Bill Webster, Skilled Trades representative. Joe McCabe, National representative, and Sean O’Donnell, Local 1941 President also assisted with negotiations. Congratulations to all on a job well done. |
